He's not a fat old fart. He's still one of the better tackles in the league but his career is getting near the end. That limits the teams that would be interested in trading for him. Someone his age and with that salary isn't easy to trade.

I'm surprised that a Webzone member with the name of CatchMaster80 would not realize just how old TW really is. He's REALLY OLD. He can no longer move like he once did. He still does not get pushed around. But there was a day and age where TW could collapse an entire side of a defense. That's how good and how dominant he really was. But he can't do that anymore. He looked kind of average last season. Not horrible. But not great either.

He's still considered a top 5 left tackle. Yes I know he's getting up ther ein years. I said that in my comment that he's nearing the end of his career. I just think calling him an old fart is kind of disrespectful for a guy of his stature.

If they draft his replacement in the 1st round I'd give Trent the starting gig up until the trade deadline and then see if any playoff team loses a tackle. He'd be worth a 3rd in '27 even if it's just a rental.

Maybe hes traded on draft day?? I've seen some interviews or videos where the Chiefs GM saying that there will be moves made on draft day and Trent is linked to them...

That being said I hope we get answers by draft night weather hes signed or traded I want a conclusion to this already so we can focus on OTAs and TC.

They'd need to redo multiple deals before the deal is made as any team who trades for hum has have $33.07m in cap room and the Chiefs have a bit over $6.717m in cap room so they'd need to redo some combo of Chris Jones($22.533m saved), Trey Smith($12.523m saved), Creed Humphrey($8.856m saved), Nick Bolton($6.892m saved) and George Karlaftis($7.948m saved) to have enough room to fit Trent and they can't redo his deal at the same time as the trade is made unlike what some like Spotrac has said, so idk how likely it happens

Plus only 6 teams have enough room, Titans, Cardinals, Jets, Patriots, Chargers and Commanders and I don't see him being ok going to a team like the Titans, Cardinals, Jets and the Commanders and the Chargers have their tackles already leaving only the Patriots
