Didier Drogba is a legend for Chelsea fans of all over the world, the Ivorian forward holds a special place in the heart of everyone who supports the Premier League club and Drogba rightfully deserves to have this love and appreciation from Chelsea and their fan boys. The veteran player has helped Chelsea in winning 4 Premier League titles, 3 Football League Cups, 4 FA Cups, 1 Champions League and 2 FA Community Shields.

The contributions that Drogba has made to the Premier League club have been so significant that he was named as Chelsea’s greatest player ever in a poll which was made back in 2012.

Drogba is currently 37 years old but despite his elevated age, he is rumored on being wanted by Chelsea. The Ivorian attacker is performing for the MLS side Montreal Impact but the American team has already confirmed that they have indeed been holding talks with Chelsea as the Premier League club has been attempting to bring back Drogba to Stamford Bridge.

“We are currently in contact with Didier Drogba and Chelsea FC. We are doing everything we can to have him back with the Impact in 2016. We understand his Drogba attachment to his former club and his desire to help them. We are willing to accommodate him.” Montreal Impact said on their twitter page.

It still remains uncertain as to what role will Drogba have if he does make yet another return to Stamford Bridge, the experienced footballer has already served as a coach and an actual player for the Premier League side.

Drogba joined Montreal Impact on July of 2015 but he has already carved his name in the history books of the club and in the MLS as he became the first player in MLS history to score a hat-trick in their first league start. The Ivorian forward was also awarded with the MLS player of the month award in October after being able to score 7 goals in 5 games. He still continues to show his world class skill even at his senior years.
