WRs: 2026 Draft Class

Jennings is a big guy 6`3" thats only an inch difference I personally think Bekker would be the better pick over Roberts,,Bekker has really good speed

Omar Cooper is also a guy I can see Kyle falling in love with. I like a lot of WRs in Round 2-4 but with the way Kyle hates rookie WRs it feels like any non top 40 WR pick will ride the bench.

yep Cooper is made for Kyles offenses he has all the attributes that Kyle requires in a receiver ....I would love him in the 2 nd rd.....also looking at Chris Bell and Lemon from USC. Charlie Bekker too if he is coming out for the Draft...Cooper and Bekker would be real nice for the 9ers real nice

I love Bell but he tore his ACL a couple months ago and would miss a chunk of time. If he falls bc of it then you snag him

Love Becker but he is only a Sophomore and won't come out till next year. I know JJ is 6'3 but he was drafted in the 7th and his contribution was unexpected. Kyles draft history with the 49ers is guys 5'11 to 6'1 and 190-205lbs

Watkins 5'11 195
Ricky 6'1 190
Cowing 5'9 170
Bell 6'0 200
Gray 6'0 200
Aiyuk 6'0 200
Jennings 6'3 210
Deebo 6'0 215
Hurd 6'4 225
Pettis 6'1 195
James 5'9 180
Taylor 5'8 180

7 - 5'11 to 6'1
3 - <5'10
2 - 6'2+

The Niners need for WR upgrade is obvious, but I just don't see Kyle building his offense around a rookie WR...

ID like to see if they could duplicate the Anquan Boldin approach. Use a mid to late round pick to bring in two veteran WR, and then use a 2nd or 3rd to draft a rookie who could develop into a legit X in the future.
In April, still without a first-round pick, they drafted 14 rookies — including fifth-rounder Puka Nacua. The scouts went after players with three specific qualities: play speed (using GPS data from events such as the Senior Bowl or from players' universities instead of a 40-yard dash time), how they projected their bodies would develop and football IQ/character.

Ok I give you that, but hey don't ever mention that name Ronnie bell ever that's s forbidden in 9erland that and that kicker both from michigan .
I just started watching Jordyn Tyson. Damn, this kid is nasty as hell. The way he moves, manipulates tempo and accelerates reminds me of Justin Jefferson. I read that he's got a long list of medical issues. f**k.

I'm out on McAlister now..

He is Aiyuk 2.0 in a lot of ways

Terrific talent, but a headcase. Arrested summer 2024, left Boise in 2023 after quitting the team and when he tried to come back the players voted no and he was barred from returning.

Doubt a team takes a flier on him any earlier than the fourth or fifth, despite the talent. Reminds me of Jermaine Burton. So much ability but stupid decisions and immaturity.

All in on Ted Hurst and Bernard from Alabama. Germie is so freaking smooth. Love the kid. Reminds me of Puka and is used at Bama the same way Puka was used at BYU.

Medicals aside, hes the easy WR1 for me.
It sounds like this draft is pretty deep at WR. Realistically, what rounds or tiers do we think X Receiver prospects will go in?..

1st round

-
2nd round
-
-
3rd round
-
-
Skyler Bell getting good reviews in Shrine Bowl practices

I actually think there's a bunch of X receivers available all over this class.

Germie Bernard
Ted Hurst
Elijah Sarratt
Chase Roberts

Bernard to me looks like a first round talent on top of being a high character kid. Selfless blocker, team leader, best offensive player probably, and so smooth on his routes. High football IQ. Shanny would love him.

Hurst is very Pickens-like, except hopefully without the attitude.

Sarratt and Roberts are a little bigger but have been the go-to guys on their teams.

Probably top 10 based on every draft ranking I see. Would love to get him as well but would need to trade future 1st rounders.
