The #49ers are doing their homework on dynamic WR KC Concepcion. He'll reportedly visit with the team ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft. @_RyanFowler_ #FTTB #NFLDraft

Day 3 or UDFA guy who could be a candidate for transition to FB if he can handle the zone run blocking

Former Washington WR Denzel Boston is visiting the 49ers today on one of his predraft 30 visits.

San Francisco owns pick 27 and WR is still a need for their roster.
A look at his hands👇 https://t.co/SGYFVOyYyk

Don't see the separation or YAC but does have great hands at the catch point

Boston would be a near no brainer if he were still there at No. 27, in my opinion. He's big, physical, blocks and would be a strong understudy to Mike Evans at the X spot. https://t.co/2nu4AwLWKd

It would be a low-key tilting pick for the 2026 season. Assuming Boston and Evans both play the same spot, Boston wouldn't see the field much as long as Evans is healthy. They'd essentially get nothing from their first-round pick on an old team with a closing window.

I agree with you, but this would not surprise me.

"An old team"? I just don't see this. We have a few ageing guys like Williams, Juice and the ST kickers and holders. Then there are the guys like Kittle who are not as young as they used to be. But nothing gives me the impression that the team considers that they are on the cliff edge. Quite the opposite.

It's Brock, and a bunch of guys that are 30+. The core of this team is absolutely old: Trent will be 38; Juice will be 35; Kittle will be 33; Fred and CMC will be 30; etc.
There isn't a single impact player on this team that's 25 years old or younger. Not one Pro bowler; not an All-Pro. Zilch. Nada. Not a single one. So yeah, this is an old team lol.

All the stars are near the end of their careers or past their prime except Purdy. That woudn't be an issue except they don't seem to have anyone that's going to step up and carry the torch when those stars retire. All the best backups left over the last few years leaving the cupboard bare. Especially on offense. The defense has a couple guys that may develop but even the D doesn't have a ton of young talent. Warner and Bosa are clearly the best defenders. After that the dropoff is significant.

I haven't watched much of him to have a real opinion. I was listening to matt harmon talk about him and said he can play that big slot role though (even though he's primarily an X).
