"Jacob Rodriguez racked up the awards in 2025. He won the Chuck Bednarik Award as the nation's top defensive player. He won the Butkus Award as the top linebacker. And finally, he won the Bronko Nagurski Award as the nation's top defensive player. In addition to these accomplishments, Rodriguez also finished fifth in the Heisman Trophy voting."
Jacob Rodriguez just making play after play at the Senior Bowl. Just like he did in college. One of the easiest evaluations in this class.

Here is every one-on-one coverage rep by Pittsburgh LB Kyle Louis: pic.twitter.com/QEcl5gWuFw

Have to say…@Pitt_FB LB Kyle Louis was the best player on the field for both teams during the 3 days of practice in Mobile, AL this week. Just check the tape. He was everywhere. @K_009r @seniorbowl

Pitt LB Kyle Louis had a dominant Day 3 at the Senior Bowl. Arguably the best practice of any player this week.

The change of direction skills in one-on-ones stood out the most. But he was a terror in team drills too … consistently ripped the ball out to cause incompletions. pic.twitter.com/RIxuhIb0pB

I had the same concern, but as long as we focus more on BPA more this year, we should be OK. There's not a single position outside of maybe QB and RB where adding a top talent wouldn't help us next season. It's almost like we can't go wrong 😂 I mean, any top OL? DB, DL, LB, TE/WR? All would make us better.
All our backers after Fred are one dimensional and either get roasted in the pass game or blown up in the run (or can't tackle power backs). I appreciate the effort from Tatum but I'm sorry, I'd trade him if we can, for whatever we can get.
I would be all for Jacob Rodriguez at 27. If available day two, I'm a fan of Anthony Hill. Kid looks really quick, instinctive, and is a balanced player, not one dimensional from what I've seen.

Rodriguez is one of my favorite players in the draft. He's a can't miss gold helmet prospect IMO. I don't think he goes in the first round but like you; I wouldn't be mad at all if that was the pick (it won't be lol)
