he isnt going to last past top 20 no way he makes it to 27 there is a legit chance he goes top 10

Whats better than 1 Fred Warner? 2 Fred warners!! But the NFL isnt making that mistake again

Man, y'all burst my bubble. I was watching and thinking there's NO SHOT this guy is available at 27. What a talent.
How about Josiah Trotter? I don't know how to post links or I'd post his youtube. Maybe one of you could post it if you liked him as well.

Great size and pedigree as his dad played in the NFL - super athletic and twitchy.

Would not mind at all if we took him at #58.

I wonder what simulator Crocky used cause that safety from Toledo is never available for me in the 2nd round.

That mock was crazy, huh.
Interesting class. I'm not sure how much capital we throw at the position but there are certainly schematic fits, although Morris may have a different vision. I like Kyle Louis and Harold Perkins at the moment. Justin Jefferson from Bama looks like an excellent depth piece and high end special teamer. Ascending talent that I could see developing. One of the guys I am most excited to see at the combine is Kendal Daniels. 6'5 converted safety. Plays that cheetah/star/hybrid role.

Kyle Louis!!!! Definitely on board, dude is an assassin lurking in the 2nd level

"He's not very big, so durability against the run is probably my biggest concern long term. I really like how he plays, though. Will fit great for teams with a stout front who like to sit in nickel the entire game." – NFC regional scout

He used the simulator from Temu.
What're our thoughts on Taurean York?

I'm really looking for more of a WILL linebacker to pair with Warner. And I'm not sure York has the chops for it. I see issues in zone and man coverage. The range is not elite, and I think the height and wingspan at the combine will be a big detriment. Does he have the length to cover big slots and TEs? I like his downhill game more than his scrape and run game.

His role is as an ILB. He sets up the defense. Works downhill to the runner, can be used as a blitzer. He is undersized for it. He is not going to work in all systems. He is not going to take on lead blocks and funnel plays. He needs to be where he can get downhill and try to slip blocks and make the play. I think he'll be better in an aggressive 3-4 defense, where he can be moved around and protected. Bucs or Vikings come to mind. I think he projects as an elite special teams guy, but I dont think he played much of in college which is a shame.

While I dont think he is the highest upside guy for the 49ers, I could see him excelling in the right role. For us, I just see that as depth at middle linebacker and as a core special teams guy.

Check Eric Gentry. I do really like Kendal Daniels as well who is 6'5.
