If he made it to our pick, EMW would be a fine selection. Love the smooth transition out of the backpedal. All American, but I worry that he won't make it to 27 either.

Basically this. The "do it all" in particular. He's one of those guys that will have a long NFL career because he does everything well; good kid, and will surprise some with how athletic he is. Wouldn't shock me if he finds his way into the first round.

You're in for a treat brother; deepest safety class that I've seen in a long time IMO of course. Who knows, when you're done with your evals they may even change your thoughts on safeties not being an impact position

It's a very deep safety class but I hope we don't think we can wait around because of it.

EMW or Thieneman. Neither will make it to our 2nd pick so if we don't trade back from 27 and one is available I wouldn't complain if we pulled the trigger.

He plays the game the right way, a true gym rat, he plays with a lot of heart, the kind of guy you'd be happy to see date your daughter.

Phoenix and Hoov pretty much answered that for me. But I'll directly answer those questions cause it's you. Nope; he isn't "sneaky" athletic, he's athletic and it shows on film. My comment was because those who don't know him or ever watch him play might have different thoughts because of the way he looks. Wouldn't shock me if he clocks in the 4.3's

I wouldn't say he's quicker than fast because he's plenty fast. The quick comes from him being a student of the game. Doesn't take long to see it. Watch two games and you'll be sold. That said I am interested in what his shuttle times will be.

i think they are making a joke because he is white

but i agree i think he is the second best S in the class and he is one of the most athlethic players he will have a high RAS score

Dillion Thieneman had 6 picks as a freshman and only 2 picks as a Jr.. I read that's because they asked him to play in box more. If he's drafted by the 9ers, please do not ask him to play in the box and let him roam free.
