Iheanachor is 22 years old

i just googled it he has some uncertainaty about his age similar to Ansah after being born in Nigeria and moving here.

Either way i dont think he is a first round selection worthy player you are betting on a lot of development on his rookie year. If he were to sit for a year it makes sense (less sense if he is 25) but you are really betting on some astronomical technical improvment in a short amount of time.

As of March 2026, Arizona State offensive tackle Max Iheanachor's age is reported inconsistently, with sources placing him anywhere from 21 to 26 years old. Due to his late start in football and status as a 2026 NFL Draft prospect, his exact age is noted as a subject of uncertainty, often listed simply as "advanced". Lions Wire +4

Reported Age: 22 (Yahoo Sports), 21 (Wolf Sports), or potentially up to 25-26

lol at last sentence.

Never rely on a google search for that stuff. That's how the whole debacle of Solomon Thomas being 250 pounds started.

Dustin Ludke(the guy I linked) has connections to college sports information directors. He posts information about college players all the time.

i dont doubt him the issue is they are relying on him or what his parents put down. This isn't based on a birth certificate and there is an obvious advantage of claiming you are younger than you are (no hate on him or his parents for doing this i know they just want a better life)

Ah, gotcha. You're concerned that his reported age may not be accurate. Well, in that case, can't do much to dissuade your concerns.

but thanks for the report of him being 22 i saw 25 so that does help me a lot if he does end up being the pick. I am just not a huge fan of picking a raw player at 27. I do like the athlethic talent of him i just dont think he is day 1 ready which is what we need

I get you, but we're not talking top 10 pick, it's almost a 2nd rounder... with a 5th year option.

We're already doing the whole almost 2nd rounder thing?
