Day 2-3 TE prospects

I haven't had a chance to go through all the TEs but a few mid-round guys I really like are:

1. Dallen Bentley UTAH
2. Joe Royer CIN

Both of these guys are both good pass catchers with adequate blocking ability.

I would draft Bentley in R3 - I think he's going to be very good in the NFL.

Any others that have stood out to you guys?

I like D Wright from Ole Miss. He made some big plays in the CFP. I read he isn't much of a blocker, though.

I am jealous of the 3 TE sets the Rams were running this year. It seemed like they had an endless supply of big TEs who could both block and pass catch.
Nate Boerkircher, TE- Texas AM

Dominant blocker. Best in the draft. Under-rated receiving ability. Reminds me of 5th round pick Jackson Hawes from the Bills.

Agreed. Solid comparison and Hawes has already had NFL success and likely made Dawson Knox a cut candidate. I'm excited for the combine to see what kind of athlete Boerkircher is as you dont get alot of him hitting speed on film.

I love watch Texas A&M film. Several guys that fit our system. I like how Nate lines up all over the place. No doubt he can block in line, but you see alot of motion, alot of pulling, him lining up at H back. Obviously not a lot of volume in the passing game but he looks fluid and has good hands. You put on the South Carolina game and on the first possession he is lined up out wide, matched up on a potential first round corner in Brandon Cisse, and he surprises him with a well run in breaking route thats good for 20 yards. Its like, OK, I thought this guy was a in line stiff blocker. Later on he's grabbing a TD on a seam route run while lined up in the backfield. There's more versatility here than the stats show. I'm seeing a much better blocking version of Daniel Bellinger.
Oscar Delp, who will undoubtedly be a Webzone favorite by the time of the draft, found a hairline fracture in his foot the he apparently played on all season, and wont test at the combine. Bummer.

Given the picks that we have the only two TE's I like for us is Delp and Dae'Quan Wright
I wonder if Riley Nowakowski, TE, Indiana would be a player that can be converted to mostly play FB.

Easily. I'm hoping we phase the FB out already though
Tanner Koziol out of Houston is my guy I like in the Late Rounds.

I keep taking Delp in my Mock Draft simulator.

Maiocco saying to keep an eye on Jaren Kanak as possible replacement for Juice. He must have heard something. 👀

Tthat's another guy I'm shocked they haven't groomed a replacement. They have been asking Juice to take pay cuts but haven't adequately prepared for when he is gone.

Replace his ass with 3 WR/TES sets. It's time to put a nail in the Fullbacks coffin and get with the times already
