Antonio Williams-WR-Clemson

49ers have met with him already and in many ways he's an ideal fit for this offense. A very well developed route runner that like Pearsall simply excels at getting open, especially in the intermediate area. Hands are as reliable as it gets. Plenty of speed that makes him a viable deep threat and a solid YAC threat as well. His stock fell off along with the entire Clemson offense falling off last season but he's someone that come in and contribute early on, especially with his approach to blocking, something he is quite adept at. Also a weapon as a returner.

Good thread Phoenix.

I've watched a few of his youtube vids and he's a really good player (if unspectacular) and imo a Cooper Jr-lite type player. Would be fine if we used #58 on him if we really liked him as very unlikely he falls to #92.

Do you like Williams better than Kendrick Law? You put me onto Law and I was even more impressed with Law's highlights as he is looks like a powerful physical specimen with speed and RAC and reminds me of a Deebo-type player. Law just seems like a dawg with how he runs like he's angry.

Since #58 is perfect for Pregnon/Rutledge to immediately start at LG, I was looking at #92 for a guy like Law (would love to grab an additional pick in the 90-100 range to grab both Jalon Kilgore at S and Kendrick Law at WR.
Very solid fit and the Evans signing unlocks this archetype for us.
He was also a consensus first round pick going into last season.

He has such a high floor and can be a great slot WR i do think we have to take him with the 2nd round pick to get him wouldnt be a bad pick but i dont think he makes it to end of third round

Correct he will be long gone by #92. We will have to take him at #58 if we wanted him.

I prefer Ted Hurst at WR if we are selecting one at #58 as he profiles as a future X receiver, but Williams is NFL ready right out of the box. Thing is I like Kendrick Law even more than Williams and he can be had at #92 or in the early 4th if we trade back from 27 and pick up an extra pick in the 90-110 region.

I kinda like the the thought of

33. Iheanachor OT (trade back with NYJ for 103, 179, and a 2027 5th)
58. Ted Hurst/Antonio Williams WR (can play slot - Hurst would be our future X as well once Evans leaves in a couple years)
75. Keylan Rutledge G (trade up from #92 to grab him using the NYJ 2027 5th we received)
103. Kendrick Law WR (can play slot)

Our WR room would go from weakness to strength and with Deebo on a short-term cheap deal would be

Evans
Pearsall
Deebo
Hurst/Williams
Law
Watkins
Cowing

If one gets hurt we are still perfectly fine.

This is who I want to prioritize if we miss Cooper Jr.
