I would rather go to jail than follow instructions, please draft me to be coached!

Wedgewood looked great in the net.

The fact that he put himself in this position whether it was a cop on a power trip or not is a red flag.

He was a field general out there last night. Lets hope it continues and the team plays better.

Lebron 29-2 after taking game 1 in a series so theres hope we can make it to the 2nd round to get Luka/AR back.

At 35 we get extra picks for moving back. It makes a large handful of players acceptable to draft there due to the additional draft capital gained. A lot easier to stomach drafting a 4.6+ guy with our first pick when we get at least two additional picks to address more talent to the team. Also at 35 you're not passing on better players that may have went between 27 and 35.

So yeah there is a difference.

Look it's ok if you dont care he didnt run a 40. It doesnt sit well with me that a perfectly healthy guy would just be like nope not running - meaning he knows his stock goes down if he runs. Tate ran a 4.53 still an acceptable time. Tyson and KC had an injury.

Hell if Boston ran a 4.53-4.55 he prob solidifies a top 25 selection in the draft as that would be a great time for him. So obv he is a 4.6+ guy

So my question to you and NY and others is... if he did run and ran a 4.65 would you still want him to be the pick at #27? Im genuinely curious.

I think you are fundamentally wrong about how teams approach the draft, and your conflating the way you mock draft with the way NFL teams really draft.

Teams are drafting the players they want. If they believe there is a clear discrepancy between how they value the player and how the rest of the league does, they will attempt to move down to recoup the free money. If there are multiple players they value the same, and believe they can move down and still snag one, they will attempt to move down to recoup the free money.

What teams are NOT doing, is moving down to make a selection they dont actually want to make for a player they dont feel conviction for more palatable, or "acceptable " as you put it

If you dont think a "slow" player helps your team enough to draft him at 27, then you dont draft a slow player that cant help your team at 35 either.

If you think he can help your team at 35 despite being "slow," then his speed should have never disqualified him from being drafted at 27, cus you clearly dont think it stops him from being an impact player.

If he isnt BPA at 27, then take who is...

Why is 4.53 an acceptable time for Tate? If he ran 4.6, is he no longer good? If Boston runs 4.4, are you no longer concerned with separation ability?

To answer your question, I dont want him at 27, there would be very few scenarios where I don't have a guy clearly ahead of him. But if he ran a 4.75, it wouldn't change my opinion on him. If he ran a 4.45, it wouldn't change my opinion on him.

Now, if he DOES go in the first round, despite him not running somehow proving hes a 4.65 guy, what will you say? That he should have went top 10 of he ran the 40 at the combine?

He doesnt have bad hands, he has bad technique. He can trackil the ball well, he shows glimpses of attacking the ball rather than letting the ball get to him, but hes a clapper.
