The only quality Center is Connor McGovern and his market value is around $16 million/yr. Buffalo will not let him go.
Luke Forner is a younger version of Jake Brendel at roughly the same cost.

I mentioned Issac Seumalo in another thread. He's about $10 million on the market. Steelers will not likely let him leave though.
Dylam Parham with the Raiders is OK but a little light at 285.
Ed Ingram from Houston would be magic. He will get $12-14 million.

There are others that would be a stop-gap until a draft prospect develops.

People want Tyler Linderbaum, but he's gonna get close or higher than the $18M a yr that Creed Humphrey got not long ago.

I have no issue paying a top quality center..

Aside from that they need to address the secondary at somepoint. Safeties can't cover for s**t. Our corners are average at best. No ball hawks. They need to find a Emmanwori like Seattle.

I question if Shanahan is going to move on from Brendel when there are other glaring needs I think in his eyes based on what he has said about Brendel. We definitely must improve at WR and at OL, and we need someone opposite Bosa. I agree, the roster is set for us to compete. However, we must do well in the draft, land a couple of impactful free agents at some of these core positions and the OL must be addressed. I have a gut feeling we'll see drafts/FA at WR and in the defense, but I am really worried that the FO is going to ignore the OL again. We'll see come March what the plan is I guess.

Current Roster Summary:
This team has two Major weaknesses going into next season (Interior O-Line & WR). The 3rd weakness would be needing another Edge Rusher opposite of Bosa. Bryce Huff excelled while Bosa was out there in 2 1/2 games having 11 QB Pressures & 2 Sacks being left on a 1 on 1 island. The team had a 45.5% pressure rate while Bosa was on the field. The WR position desperately needs to add some speed, as much as i love what Jennings has brought to the team, its time to move on. The O-Line needs retooling, against Seattle they got manhandled on both occasions at the end of the year. Need to Bulk up the interior. Overall I like the Baseline of this roster. I think we hit on last years draft on the defensive side (Upton, West, Collins) & before Mykel went down he exceled against the run. The 49ers' run defense was ranked 6th in EPA per play through Weeks 1-9 (before Mykel Williams' injury) but fell to 26th for the remainder of the regular season. With the Leadership of Warner & Bosa out there this will be an elite Defense.

Key Free Agent Resigns
K - Eddy Pineiro
DE - Sam Okuayinonu (RFA)
TE - Jake Tonges (RFA)
DT - Kalia Davis (RFA)
C - Matt Hennessy

Possible Free Agency Targets
DE - Trey Hendrickson (Looked into trading for him at the deadline & pairing with him and Bosa would be Elite)
RB - Breece Hall (Very close friendship with Purdy & CMC needs a running mate)
TE - Kyle Pitts (Kittle out till Nov & he can also split out and play some WR as well)
WR - Deebo Samuel (Still very close with the team, Deebo as a WR3 is a win)
DE - Joey Bosa (Looked into signing him last year, but chose the Bills)
TE - David Njoku (Solid TE that needs a change of scenery)
C - Tyler Linderbaum (Elite Pass Blocker whose familiar going against SEA Defense)

Possible Trade Targets
WR - AJ Brown (Gives a us legit #1)
DE - Maxx Crosby (Reported were interested, but doubt Davis allows it)
WR - Brian Thomas (Talks of a Late 1st could get him)
WR - Jaylen Waddle (Much needed speed in this Offense)

Possible Restructures
Nick Bosa - Saves $17 Million
Trent Williams - Saves $16 Million

Summary
This team if they restructure Bosa & Trent will be around $85 Mill in Cap Space and that's not including any other possible moves (Mac, Brendel, Farrell). There is no excuses this Offseason to not be aggressive and spend the Money to Upgrade WR, IOL & Edge Rush. I know a lot of you were upset with this team not making a Trade at the Deadline, but we weren't beating Seattle without Bosa, Warner & Mykel on Defense. Not to mention not having our #1 WR & Kittle. Looking back I'm glad we didn't overspend for Hendrickson. This is the most excited I've been going into an Offseason in a long time, this team has an incredible chance to take a massive leap. Now its time to see just how all in the Front Office is starting March 9th.

There's a bunch of guys on your list who won't see the active 53. Mainly all the guys who signed reserve contracts. If they are kept around it will be for the practice roster.

The team is high in Hennessy. I think we bring him back and him and Brendel battle for the starting job.

The guard I want is Zion Johnson.

Know of any good centers (able to play guard) in the 3rd or 4th rds worth taking for developing (could compete for back up C/G)?

Brian Parker from Duke. Played tackle but will probably slide inside. Some people have him as a center because of his athleticism and he's smart. He has shades of Graham Barton who went 1.27 two years ago to TB. Parker is maybe just outside the top 75 but I could see him going mid 2nd round - early 3rd because he can play any position on the Oline.

Jager Burton from Kentucky is a guard/center prospect with good size. He's a 4th round guy who has potential.
As for guard / tackle prospects I like:

1- Max Iheanachor, AZ Rd 2 (Can play tackle)
2- Gennings Dunker, Iowa Rd 2/3 (Can play tackle)
3- Keylan Rutledge, Georgia Tech Rd 3
4- Beau Stephens, Iowa Rd 3
5- Trey Zuhn, Texas AM Rd 3/4 (Can play tackle)

Why? He's terrible. Reason why Chargers will let him walk.

Agreed. Hennessy won't be back

Because he fits what Shanahan wants to do.

He reminds me of Laken Tomlinson. I think he woild flourish here and won't cost a ton

Didn't your offseason plan have him getting 3/39? That's a lot of a bad G

Hennessy is the only back up center we have tho besides Nugent who can't crack the roster... I hope they bring in someone through the draft to help out there. We could be f'kd up again if something doesn't get fixed at that position

Sounds good!

I hope they do something to improve the center spot because Brendel and Hennessy need to get better, something has to give
So far like the two additions. If we can snag Hendrickson this Free Agency is already a Huge Win.

I doubt we sign Hendrickson. $45M+ a year for two 32-year-old free agents is a lot.

Would love to be wrong though. Hendrickson is a perfect #2 edge rusher who can step in as the #1 edge rusher if Bosa happens to get hurt again.
