49ers will have a third place schedule next season.

2027: John Lynch + Kyle Shanahan + Gus Bradley + Harder Schedule + Other teams on their way up + Lackluster Roster = 6-10 record at best and no playoffs.

I see 4 wins only and some guy name ARCH on the way to SF as JED throws Kyle on the street !!

I don't think we're going to see another scenario where there's no Mahomes, Jackson, Burrow in the AFC. Not to mention guys like Maye and Nix playing even better. Then you have Texans defense. In the NFC, teams like Atlanta will be better. Baker probably rebounds. Dallas has a legit offense if they can build a defense. And there's still Detroit, GB, and Minnesota if they find a QB. And we haven't even talked about our own division.

Stafford was right to lose it in the locker room post Seattle game. This year was indeed setting up to be a cakewalk. Not gonna happen again, and I don't think one Nick Bosa and one Fred Warner returning make us into a bonified top team in the conference…

What I like is that all those replacement guys - and I don't have numbers and stats - all those guys got just about a whole year of solid, real game experience. And work that is far far better than what comes in pre-season. So with Fred and Bosa and whomever else back, overall this is a much more fortified team. No more injured starters next season! And I can't wait to see these 2026 Niners!
Right now I'm really looking forward to the 2 day 49er documentary on AMC Sunday and Monday. I'm hearing some great things from people like Young and Policy who have seen some of it. Even they learned some things.

Too bad we came up short. The Patriots decided to wear their white jerseys at the SB. That means we would have worn our red jerseys at home

It is worth recalling that at the beginning of the season, 49ers were a strong choice to make the Super Bowl this year. Injuries destroyed that chance while other teams improved.

The bulk of that early roster is still intact. It may not be enough to get back to the Super Bowl but it is still much better than a 6 win team. There is a lot of young talent on the team that gained a lot of experience this season.

Success is always a function of health as much as any other.

You're right, that will play a major factor in growth / into next season... they're already ahead because of all the playing time

And yes, "one Nick Bosa and one Fred Warner returning" will be huge, 49ers were SB contenders before those guys got hurt. Bosa got hurt early so, he'll be ready by camp. Warner is already good to go and will be 200% by September

We need a couple of key free agents (WR and Safety at least) to help move the needle and another good draft
I am looking forward to next year. I do think we will be one of the favorites to win the NFC. Having Brock grow and McCaffrey will help. I do think it will help, however, if we add a WR and pass rusher. I hope we resign Eddie our kicker because that is important too. I think with all of our guys healthy we can beat any NFC team.

Oh come on! Zero credibility in your post.
Right now the 49ers are ranked by Vegas in the Top 10 to win the Super Bowl in 2027. If Jed spends the money and we acquire a couple elite players I believe we will be in the Top 3. 💫

I believe if we had a healthy Warner, Bosa, Williams, Purdy, Pearsall, Jennings and Kittle all season, we might have gone undefeated and in the SB instead of the Cucks

This team isn't lucky enough to stay healthy so, yes, we need to bring in really good free agents and a solid draft to be real contenders
