There is only one DE I want in the 1st RD and that is mesidor. If he is not there and you still want DE with your 1st pick, trade out of the 1st RD and take Zion Young.

Honestly a perfect fit. Slot & outside versatility, just a solid dependable all around WR3. Good depth and competition for Watkins Cowing and whoever we will still draft at the position

He didn't do much lately, but had a big game in he playoffs this year. Great add for the slot and hopefully returner
While with the Houston Texans, Kirk had a standout performance in the Wild Card round against the Pittsburgh Steelers on January 12, 2026. He recorded 8 catches for 144 yards and a touchdown in the 30-6 victory.

Shoulda trade for Justin Jefferson, right?
AND Ja'Marr Chase give them Mac Jones for Jefferson and then we give out 2nd and 4th round picks for Chase. Do it!!

I think you can make the case that the 49ers have been the most successful in terms of the offseason FA/trades so far. Just gotta get Trent Williams signed up.

Missed half the season one year then sparingly used the following year in Houston. Seems like WR 1 - 3 spots are presumably locked up. I.like our room with everyone healthy. Paves the way for BPA or even a trade back into the 2nd.

What exactly are you looking for at WR for $6 million?
Exactly. If there's little to no guarantees it's fine.
I remember when he left Arz for i think Jacksonville, he was overpaid at the time with a shocker of a contract. He must have a good agent.

I don't think a 29 year old on a 1 year deal impacts their draft decisions at all. If they wanted to go WR first they will still do it.
Agree. None of these one year deals do. They clearly think we were a few pieces and less injuries away last year, so adding him makes sense. Making a push this year and leaning in for sure.

Good move for slot WR.

I kind of like it. Think he will fit this offense well and what we needed. A guy who can work the underneath routes. At the very least it gives us more depth.

Or Joey, and OT with the first.
