This is a 3rd round pick with a TON of talent remaining. And we have a TON of holes to fill. Lynch and Shanny have a history of wasting picks in this round. Don't know what it is with the 3rd, hope I'm wrong about this guy, but I'm not holding my breath.

I wonder if they were targeting Watts, Rogers, and/or Grant that went right before.

I do like this pick. They have need a NB with good hips and a physical style of play for about 5 years now. He looks twitchy and these are the guys that just know how to make plays.

I do like that he never seemed to slip or get juked out of his shoes on any plays.

This bodes well. Since it seems like we have had a lot of plays where corners straight fall down off the line...

Not always but it does tend to bode well. You don't often get guys who show out well at the Senior Bowl and then turn out to be busts in the NFL.

This regime just needs to forfeit 3rd round picks from now on.

Nick Martin was a 5th round LB

Upton Stout was a 6th round undersized, oft injured CB

Every year these guys over draft players in the 3rd round. It's rediculous
