That sucks for him. Maybe we can call up Feliciano to come back for end of year?
I wouldn't mind that,... Feliciano was a top10 Guard while playing with us,... Idk in which form he's atm but one thing I know for sure is that Burford is pure trash,... so any help at LG would be greatly welcomed
Burford was injured until week 9 and since he returned:
- Week9 against the NY Giants.
"Burford was San Francisco's lowest-graded offensive lineman (55.8), earning a 59.4 run-blocking grade and a 36.9 pass-blocking grade—both the lowest among the group. He also surrendered a sack."
- Week 10 against Rams.
"The worst-graded offensive lineman from the game was Spencer Burford, who started at left guard. Burford earned a 52.8 offensive grade over his 35 snaps."
In these 35 snaps (more or less half the 63 snaps the offense played) he surrendered 3 pressures (so at this pace he would have surrendered 6 if he had played the whole game)
-Week 11 against Cards.
"Left guard Spencer Burford earned the team's worst pass-blocking grade (53.2) and the game's worst run-blocking grade (28.7)."
For a record setting total grade of an ashtonishing 29,4 which was by far the worst of the whole team that game
-Week 12 against Panthers.
well, for a change he had a good game against the panthers earning a 81,0 PFF grade (77.5 run-blocking, 77.1 pass-blocking). The whole OL was vastly superior to tha panthers' DL and all the linemen except Brendel had a good game earning a higher grade than Burford.
-Week 13 against Browns.
"Left guard Spencer Burford was the 49ers' lowest-graded offensive lineman (51.1)."
Apart from that he surendered 4 pressures in 46 snaps (he would have surrendered something like 6 pressures if he had played the whole 67 offensive snaps of the game)
so, now that Bartch is out for the season
