Mock Draft -
Trade #1 | 49ers trade #27 for Jets 2nd, 4th, and 5th (comp). NY trades up for Ty Simpson, leapfrogging the Texans who may be a sneaky candidate for Simpson given Stroud's upcoming extension and lack of strong performance.
Trade #2 | 49ers trade 2nd (via Jets) and 4th (via Jets) for Chiefs 2nd and 3rd round picks. Chiefs trade up for the last remaining true RT blue chip player - Blake Miller.
R2: R Mason Thomas - EDGE - Oklahoma (via KC)
*Speedy bendy edge rusher that gives us Dee Ford-like lightning in a bottle disruption. DPR in year 1 opposite of Bosa. We are not done loading up on pass rushers.
R2: Gennings Dunker - T/G - Iowa
*While an LT in college, Dunker projects best as a LG in a zone scheme. Day 1 starter.
R3: Logan Jones - C - Iowa (via KC)
*This is finally the year where we move on from Brendel as Jones is a day 1 starter at C and significant upgrade. Ideal zone scheme fit.
R4: De'Zhaun Stribling - WR - Ole Miss
*A younger, faster Jennings. Stribling will play all 3 roles in his rookie year to learn the ropes.
R4: Mason Reiger - EDGE - Wisconsin (comp)
*While he looks a bit like a TEMU version of Bosa, Reiger offers upside as a rotational base DE and pass rushing specialist. High grit player.
R4: Kaleb Proctor - DT - SE Louisiana (comp)
*Developmental prospect that can see time at 3T and 1T, Proctor will be a nice rotational addition to our DL.
R4: V.J. Payne - S/DB - Kansas St. (comp)
*Underrated prospect, I think he could be our sleeper gadget guy at S, DB, and LB. Payne/Mustapha at SS and Brown/Sigle at FS competition.
R5: Hezekiah Masses - CB - Cal (comp)
*Depth at zone corner, adds size to our unit. Swing outside backup.
Post-Draft FA Additions:
Rasul Douglas - CB - Dolphins
*We bring Douglas in to compete with Green for the outside spot. I think he ends up on our PS unit as a vet addition. Budget signing as a result.

It would suck to sit all the way through day one and not make a pick, but I'm actually not opposed to dropping out of the first round to accumulate more picks, although I would only do this if anyone of value is off the teams board.
