Zeke Mock #1 - WR and Pass Rush

Draft season is here!

After doing hundreds of mock sims to get an idea of different combos of players and trading down a million times to get 16 picks plus boatloads of draft picks for next year (LOL) here is my first attempt at a realistic mock draft with just two small trade backs and one small trade up, netting us four additional selections in the 2026 NFL Draft. Obviously after FA and the combine all of our mocks will adjust to accommodate. I assume no Mac Jones trade unless we trade Mac Jones lol. Based on who I picked in this mock, it assumes we spend on a starting LG. I am also assuming we pick up Romeo Doubbs in FA at WR.

In the 1st round we do a small trade back to the NYJ at 33 in exchange for 103, 178, and a 2027 7th which is very reasonable and a realistic trade based on the draft table.

In the 4th round we trade up 7 spots to 120 in exchange for a 2027 5th while getting back pick 200 and a 2027 7th.

Also in the 4th round we trade back from 138 to 145 and get pick 186 in return.

I think whether we trade back or not with our pathetic WR room we are going to select Omar Cooper Jr with our first pick.

33. Omar Cooper Jr WR (awesome Kyle type WR with pedigree at the highest stage). Get 103, 178, and a 2027 7th to move back to 33
58. Gracen Halton DT (pass rush - legit 3-tech DT that can get after the QB)
92. Malachi Lawrence EDGE (twitchy athletic pass rush prospect with upside)
103. Brennan Thompson WR (fastest guy in the draft - allegedly) or Kevin Coleman Jr WR (great route runner and hands similar to Antonio Williams who will be gone by this spot)
120. Bud Clark S (trade up from 127 w/ a 2027 5th in exchange for pick 200 and a 2027 7th to nab him - best of Sigle or Clark starts Week 1). Really good center fielder type of FS and competes with Sigle to be the starter.
133. Zane Durant DT/Landon Robinson DT (take your pick - more pass rushing DT 3-techs)
145. Max Llewellyn EDGE (more pass rush - love this guys youtube highlights and all his spin moves) - trade back to 145 to pick up pick 186. If he is not there grab Nadame Tucker EDGE (really good senior bowl)
171. Dontay Corleone DT (nose tackle with pass rush ability)
178. Thaddeus Dixon CB (loved his youtube highlights how he plays and insurance for Renardo Green regression)
186. Rayshaun Benny DT (6'3 296lbs another penetrating DT that can stop the run too)
200. Sam Roush TE (good TE depth until Kittle fully healthy and don't have to rush him back)

Only two small trade backs in this mock and one small trade up. The two small trade backs netted us #103, #178, and #186. And the small trade up cost us a 2027 5th but we get pick #200 and a 2027 7th back. So that's FOUR additional players in this draft with two very small and reasonable trade backs and a trade up that gave us an extra pick.

We need all the talent we can get to rebuild this roster quickly to compete with SEA and LAR.

I like it. I'm leaning towards Cooper in Rd1 only if Sadiq, Boston and Conception are gone.

I've been taking Halton in all my mocks in Rd2

I like Roush or Boerkircher at TE in Rd4-5

I like Brennan Thompson. He is an elite man coverage beater.

Im a big fan of Durant in Rd4 and Kevin Coleman I've had as high as the 3rd. I really like him.

I like the picks but 6 DL is pretty heavy. We will probably only carry 10 max and already have

I think we sign an average DT and we should draft at least 1 3T and one edge
