The San Francisco 49ers have shown interest in former Texas cornerback Malik Muhammad, according to comments he made during a recent interview. He spent three seasons at Texas, totaling 97 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, one sack, three interceptions, and 16 passes defensed, according to Sports Reference.

In 2025, Muhammad recorded 30 tackles, one sack, two interceptions, and four passes defensed, earning second-team All-SEC honors.
