Did I read he has four picks returned for touchdowns or just four touchdowns? If so we need turnovers

Well if we want a pass rushing DT Christian Wilkins still out there

I'm torn as I always like getting players I was crushing on in the draft forum but this kid is good but not good enough to ignore his off field troubles

Yup he's a POS but on the field he's always been good man. I'll say it; both him and Hobbs can easily be the #2 and #3 CBs on our roster. Wonder if they'll get a fair shot against Green and Stout

he was pretty solid his first couple yrs. I think he's a bit of a dummy and that's why he's not sticking on rosters. Low risk high reward cheap signing.

This

Clearly has attitude issues, but we have strong veteran leadership to combat that stuff hopefully.

If not, its only a 1 year deal so he can be cut.

Here's a highlight.
Google AI response on "off field troubles."

Key Off-Field and Behavioral Incidents:

  • 2023 Airport Arrest: Jones was arrested at Logan International Airport after Transportation Security Administration agents found two loaded guns in his carry-on luggage. He later reached a plea deal, agreeing to one year of probation and 48 hours of community service, while eight of nine weapons charges were dropped.

  • Patriots Suspension & Release: The Patriots suspended him in 2023 after he allegedly missed curfew and skipped mandatory rehab sessions. He was released in November 2023 following these issues.

  • 2018 Arrest: Before his NFL career, he was arrested for breaking into a Panda Express and served 45 days under house.

  • On-Field Conduct: During his time with the Las Vegas Raiders, he was noted for having some "business decisions" regarding tackling and was involved in fighting incidents.

  • 2025 Status: After stints with the Patriots and Raiders, a 2025 report indicated he was trying to prove himself to new teams, including the Miami Dolphins, noting he was "working out every day" and addressing past mistakes. NFL.com +5

  • Despite these issues, he is considered a talented cornerback, often described as a "low-risk, high-reward" player. Phin Phanatic

Kind of surprised that Kyle and John would sign a guy like this. You can look past one mistake, especially if the dude is supremely talented. This guy is a walking time bomb.

If it doesn't work out he's gone. Pretty low risk.

Stout is very safe imo, but it sounds like Green is on shaky ground. I guess a lot can change with a new DC though.

Anything that improves competition is a good thing.

Let's see. He's started every game for the last 2 years so there's something there. He's also made over $4 million over the last 4 years and there's a lot of money out there to be had if he's smart enough to stay out of trouble. If he does that stupid stuff consider him comic relief when he's cut.

I think Green is a lock for next year. But Jack Jones should finally bring Luter and his clown feet time here to an end.
