Great depth signing. I believe he was a starter for NE Pats at some point. With our luck with injuries, he can step in if needed or if Green doesn't meet expectations.
I have no issues with it, he likely didn't get more than a 1yr $2.5M deal, so he shouldn't even count against the comp pick formula, and being this late in FA he wasn't gonna get a big deal, so not gonna be mad, same with the Sample signing, it's a low risk, high reward deal, like Robert Jones who only got a 1yr $1.75M deal, so honestly it's not a big deal if he doesn't work out and is cut at final cuts, plus you have a 90-man roster, well 91 with Alarcon since he's the international pathway program player, so they have 77 players signed, so they have 14 roster spots open right now, likely will be all rookies, plus the futures signings will likely end up being cut, well most of them when we sign UDFAs.

I love this guy. He is a playmaker. we sorely need turnovers in the secondary and that's a big part of this guy's game.

I think he will fit right in with Warner, and the rest of our crazy thumpers on D LOL

I like him already, he relating to that East Bay/Oakland vibe similar to the old Tony Montana Squad. I prefer that Bay View "Bailey, who's got it better than us" vibe but its all good. Need some thug life on our D, since our offense look like the back street boys LOL

Hes given up 15 tds in his career, are those the big plays you're talking about?

Ronnie Lott is the type of playmaker the 49ers need. Ronnie Lott would never pull this social media BS. Ronnie Lott would never call attention to himself. When Ronnie Lott sacrificed a finger so he could continue to play for the 49ers, he did not hold a news conference to call attention to himself.

I will repeat that I am very surprised that Kyle and John made the decision to sign this guy.

Ward Clever from leave it to beaver.
I wonder if moving Green to free safety has been a discussion behind the scenes? He has played some safety in college.
Not a bad signing. Good depth if anything. Can never have enough depth at corner
